STOP THE EXCUSES: JUST RISE AND WALK

I have been away from this endeavour too long for comfort. Back now to stay and give the best of God to the world, follow me as we navigate life together mostly through the eyes of the scriptures.


Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him. (emphasis mine)

Many a times, I have come to a point in life where it becomes quite easy to excuse away my inactions, and look for how to lay the blame on someone else or some kind of occurrence. But I have soon come to realise that playing the blame game would not make it  right or bring the success I dream until I make moves and pursue diligently my goals.

Let this time of your life not be a season of excuses. Laxity is the nemesis of progress! It becomes a mere conjecture of the dreamer to only desire without pursuing. When desire is only in the realm of inertia without corresponding action, it can only tend to poverty, disappointment and total failure of the human endeavour.

 As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual; as you cannot grow in the things of God when you are slack concerning His things. Reward comes to those who are diligent. The bible says,
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. 
(Prov 22:29)


It is instructive to note that even God is not a slacker!
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)

What excuse are you giving today for not serving God faithfully? Do not think that you can receive anything from God without seeking Him with all your heart. There must be a commitment to seek God and follow after him bearing your cross if you really want to receive of him. You  either do it your way, or you do it His way; there is no compromise. Like Ron Kenoly would say, “There is no demilitarized zone”

Seeking and serving the Lord is a deliberate move that must be laced with determination and commitment. God desires those who can stand as his High Commissioners so He might express His abilities in them. No one would want to have a bad representative sent out from his kingdom, so is God; He wants the best of representation from his envoys on earth.

If you are mostly full of talks and no action, then your laxity and slackness are evidently manifest, and why do you think God would want to show you off to the world as His ambassador when they can say that they are better off than you, more spiritual than you, more prosperous than you or even more diligent than you are?

God is looking for faith walkers and not vain talkers. He
is not interested in someone with a "I'm going to" mind-set, but he needs those with a "I'm willing" and “I’m set” attitude!
Whatever God has told you to do, it’s time to make a move on it. He has spoken into your heart before now, so what are you still waiting for. GO FORWARD!  Now is the time to walk in faith and pursue what God has set out before you. You must realise that the world does not respect
lazy, slack and sloppy people, and if they do not, why would you think God is pleased with that?
The mess of the past might have gotten you into a season of struggles and disillusionment, dealing with the same issue right at the same spot for too long, but God says to move on and leave yesterday behind.  Don’t let past failures be your excuse for not succeeding today. Jesus says to rise up, take up your bed and walk! Halleluyah! Tell someone that you know that you are tired of saying, “I’m going to do”, but you are ready to commit to doing now.


No more excuses for you! All you have to succeed is in God! Seek Him and find grace to do what He has ordained you to do. Go past your hurts, inadequacies, seeming incompetence, your laziness, discouragements, and just ‘DO IT’. God is set to make Himself strong on your behalf, if only you will arise and walk. Now is the time to start doing everything God has told you to do. YOU WILL SUCCEED!

GOD WILL HELP YOU! Welcome to a new month. Many will be sending April fool messages, but I want you to know that God never fools you. There are times in our lives when we are confused, feel left all alone in the world, rejected, despised, troubled, tempted and fallen. Such times we mostly groan hoping for succour in the face of enemy attacks, seeing no sure way of escape if a miracle doesn't happen. THE ARK IS ON ITS WAY----THE BLESSING IS RETURNING I SAMUEL 5 & 6 II SAMUEL 6:12-23 Moses was instructed to build the ark of covenant by in Exodus 25. This became the symbol of God’s presence among the people. As we journey through the national life of Israel, we see the ark playing vital roles in the territorial expansion in Jordan, Jericho, Ai etc, as well as the defense of Israel’s territorial integrity against hostile and marauding nations. It was also a reference in worship for the nation, and by 1 Samuel 1:9; 1 Samuel 3:3, the ark had made its abode in a consecrated temple at Shiloh.
