THE ARK IS ON ITS WAY----THE BLESSING IS

RETURNING

I SAMUEL 5 & 6

II SAMUEL 6:12-23

Moses was instructed to build the ark of covenant by in Exodus 25. This became the symbol of God’s presence among the people. As we journey through the national life of Israel, we see the ark playing vital roles in the territorial expansion in Jordan, Jericho, Ai etc, as well as the defense of Israel’s territorial integrity against hostile and marauding nations. It was also a reference in worship for the nation, and by 1 Samuel 1:9; 1 Samuel 3:3, the ark had made its abode in a consecrated temple at Shiloh.

However, it became a source of worry to the enemy as it was seen as the power behind the untamed strength of Israel, hence the desire by the Philistines to take a grab and thereby waste Israel as they desired. They cried foul at the entry of the ark into the battlefield. So they became obsessed with snatching the perceived powerhouse of the children of God.

Read me clearly my friend, these people took the ark of God because they were convinced that if Israel could prosper with the ark, they also should. Let me declare over you that other people will not prosper with your blessing. That which is meant for you will not be taken over by the enemy.

Perhaps you had suffered a loss lately, be sure that those who took or found your stuffs will not be able to enjoy it. It can only benefit the genuine owner.

You may have lost something but the person who found it can’t enjoy it because it is your blessing. Whatever heaven had assigned as yours will only bless you.

If the ark is the symbol of God’s presence, the query to pose is; “could God have been captured?” I believe strongly that God allowed the ark to be taken so He would have occasion to deal with the mortal strength and power the enemy depended on. Dagon was shattered in Ashdod, tumours and emerods became the afflictions for those in Gath and Ekron. God dealt with the 5 cities of Philistia till they acknowledged His sovereignty, and sent the ark back to where it belonged.      

I want someone to pay attention to this fact that it’s only a Blessing if it has your Name on it. To some it was an ark of dread, destruction and desolation, while it became the ark of blessing, favour, and prosperity to another. The good news is that those enemies who conspired to deny you of your blessings will be sorely troubled till they let go, and your ark will be on its way back to you; infact THE ARK IS ON ITS WAY!

 

God has promised that no good thing will be withheld from you, so even if you can’t see it now, and it seems there’s no feasible evidence that you can have your stolen blessings back, stay with the word because His word will never fail. You are getting it back with a compensation!! Hallelujah

The blind Bartimeus only heard that Jesus was passing by, and he realized that his blessing was on its way, his deliverance was about to manifest, his miracle was in the NOW, regardless of the dissenting and discouraging voice of the people, he cried out loud for his manifestations. As you read me, pause and confess into your situation "I am recovering my lost blessings…my miracle is on its way to me and it’s my turn to be compensated."

Whatever had stolen your joy and peace, your blessings and dignity, your self-worth and net-worth, it’s time for you to take a stand and not just ‘siddon’ look. Cross the line into the once forbidden zones where your enemy had drawn the lines of limitations. Set up your banner of victory as the Lord begins to prosper you. Get ready for a season of celebration because the Lord delights to prosper you.

Somebody tell the devil to let go of my stuff… remind the enemy of God’s onslaught against Pharaoh and the Egyptians till they let His people go, albeit with heavy compensation. As the ark make its way back into your territory, as the blessings find their way back into your life, as the peace and joy find their route back into your family life, rejoice because they are not coming back alone; THEY ARE COMING BACK WITH HEAVY COMPENSATION. It is “DOUBLE FOR YOUR TROUBLE”, says the Lord.

I don’t care what the enemies may think about it, they may not even like it for a moment, but I want you to lift your voice and declare, “The ark is on its way, and my captivity is returning”.
